My December Reads

I just realized I never posted this!

I had a wonderful reading month in December thanks to two weeks of vacation, a couple sick days keeping me in bed, and long airport layovers. LOL Which helped to bump up my stats for what I read in print or eBook as opposed to audio, almost helping me hit my goal.

I finished 19 full length books and 14 shorts. As per usual the number in parentheses is where they fall in my tally for the year. The book number is where they fall in my tally for the month. I successfully met AND exceeded my personal goal to read 200 books in a year, which was great since it's been YEARS since I read that many in a single year.

Kelley -- Looks like you have an appreciation for the suspenseful and supernatural (I like a good vampire book, too). Glad to see you worked in Mistletoe Courtship, too.

Yes i am a big fan of paranormal romance and urban fantasy of just about any kind. :-)

In 2008 I made it a point to read mostly Christmas books during the month of December and this past year I decided that I was going to read nothing but Christmas books for teh entire month. Granted, audios are harder to do that with so a few of those are non-Christmas but they were all from the library so had to be returned. :-)

Of course, now I'm dreadfully behind on review books, but hey, everyone deserves and needs a break once in a while, right?

I tried to read several different Harlequin lines since they publish so many holiday books in all lines every year and I was competing in their book challenge again last year. I was glad to get yours in there. I believe I have a few more of your books on the book shelf also, Janet.
